Writer. Editor. Restless Artist.
Hi, I’m Aleksandra. Welcome to Art + Copy—a blog that is also a curated corner of the web dedicated to the intersection of fine art, copywriting, and the messy, beautiful pursuits that keep us creating.
If you insist, here’s everything you have to know about me…
Writing is a lot like working with a chunk of clay. It sits there on the table, raw and heavy, waiting to be mended into a specific form. The magic—and the discipline—is that you can do absolutely anything you want with it. Words are the same. I love that they are malleable; that they can become exactly what is needed on the page, or on a screen, to tell a story that sticks.
I spent years in the marketing industry. I’ve learned that when you leave your creativity out in the sun too long, it turns into a boulder—stiff, brittle, and impossible to mold. That was my turning point. I realized that the industry often expects you to “rework” yourself into weird shapes just to fit the algorithm.
I’m here to tell you: you don’t have to toss your creative dreams in the trash to survive in the professional market.
I was an artist long before I was a content specialist, and that part of my DNA is all-devouring. Being an artist isn’t a hobby; it’s a permanent state of being. In a way, it’s both a blessing and a curse. You become the clay yourself—constantly evolving, constantly being reshaped by the work you choose to do.
My cross-disciplinary nature is simple: I am a writer, an editor, and a restless artist. After years in the marketing trenches, it is finally time to spill the secrets. I’m here to help you bridge the gap between your restless artist soul and the professional precision your work deserves.
One of my favourite quotes for the road:
“To write is human, to edit is divine.”
